An Idea is Born

Spinal traction is a form of decompression therapy of the spine that involves repetitive or sustained distraction of the spinal joints in either the neck or the lower back.

An initial visit by a physical therapist or athletic therapist is imperative to ensure this is the right treatment approach

Who is appropriate for spinal traction?

People with spinal conditions such as degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, certain disc pathologies (herniation or disc bulge), and bone spurs amongst other conditions. It is important to be examined by a physical or athletic therapist to ensure spinal traction is the right form of therapy for you.
